Alissa Kendall
University of California Davis
Prof. Kendall’s research applies and advances the methods and perspectives of Industrial Ecology to understand and reduce the environmental effects of transport, energy, and agricultural systems. Her current research focuses on trying to understand and minimize the unintended consequences of key technologies in the energy transition via life cycle assessment and material flow analysis. Kendall is the Ray B. Krone Endowed Professor of Environmental Engineering and Chair of the Energy Graduate Group at University of California Davis. She holds a jointly conferred PhD in Natural Resource Policy and Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
