Without a better approach to care and education, we cannot meet society’s needs and ensure that all people can receive the lifelong care they deserve. Our care and education work focuses on schools and health systems, which sit at the frontline of the climate crisis – from hospital workers receiving victims of heat waves to teachers caring for students in heat waves. Sites and practices of care must also be reclaimed and rebuilt with the capacity to prevent and respond to more health emergencies.
