Sarah Knuth is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at Durham University, United Kingdom. Her research critically investigates how global climate change and its responses intersect with other drivers of precarity, inequality, and injustice in contemporary societies, and how to reimagine and rebuild cities, infrastructures, and economies for more liberatory futures. Particular focus areas include low-carbon energy systems, emerging climate risks and climate-proofing interventions in built environments, and frontiers of climate finance, both conventional and alternative.
