Lucy Block
Lucy Block (she/her) is the Data Communications Manager at the Climate & Community Institute (CCI). She distills CCI’s in-depth research and quantitative analysis into impactful visualizations and accessible narratives. Her background is in strategic data analysis, storytelling, and data tools to support organizing and advocacy campaigns, particularly for tenant rights in New York City and State. Prior to joining CCI, she was a Senior Research and Data Associate at the Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development. Lucy also teaches data analysis, visualization, and storytelling at NYU Wagner and holds a master’s degree in urban planning from Hunter College. Lucy lives in Elmhurst, Queens.
