Kira McDonald is an independent researcher in urban economics, social geography, and public policy. She is a member of the Climate and Community Project, a researcher with the Office of Population Research at Princeton University, and a faculty member in data visualization at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She was previously an economist for the New York City Council.
