John Stehlin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, Environment, and Sustainability at UNC Greensboro and the author of Cyclescapes of the Unequal City: Bicycle Infrastructure and Uneven Development (University of Minnesota Press, 2019). His current research examines the political economy and ecology of urban highway removal projects in the United States and Spain. He lives in Durham, North Carolina and rides the train to Greensboro for work.
