Avery Sinclair Raines

Avery Sinclair Raines is a community organizer, strategist, Black feminist, and systems thinker. Avery is dedicated to radically transforming the energy grid through energy democracy, in addition to working towards realizing reparations for Black Americans and those impacted by the climate crisis. She has spent her career supporting campaigns at various climate and environmental INGOs, most recently serving as Senior Digital Strategist for Greenpeace USA’s climate campaign. Avery holds a Masters of Science in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University. She is a proud ATLien, Libra, as well as a house and techno music fan.
